Organized crime groups have become increasingly sophisticated, using encrypted communications applications like SkyECC and ANOM to avoid detection and prosecution by law enforcement. “Dark Wire: The Incredible True Story of the Biggest Sting Ever” by Joseph Cox delves deep into the secret world of criminal enterprise and the extraordinary measures law enforcement agencies take to combat this type of crime.
