Abstract

Artificial intelligence enables machines to mimic human capabilities, like logical thinking, planning and creativity. This leads to the fact that learning something and then using the new learned knowledge are characteristically for artificial intelligence. This means once artificial intelligence learns how algorithms, programs or systems work, it can always retrieve them. So, artificial intelligence could be in the position to support our everyday lives and our working lives if we use it properly. And therefore, the question has arisen how artificial intelligence can be used in working life, especially in the field of public affairs. What advantages and disadvantages could artificial intelligence have for public affairs managers? There is not that much information about it so far. But especially this is exciting as public affairs is a communication profession and what really matters here is adequate communication, which cannot simply always be the same and must be customized for individual persons. It is therefore exciting to find out what literature is saying about this topic. And therefore, this literature review is based on actual articles, studies, internet sources and books.
